Q: How do I re-new my player(s) for the 2017 - 2018 Season?
A: Click on this link to access your 2017 - 2018 User Profile to view all players associated with your account and click on the Buy Now button under the 2017 - 2018 League Fee PayPal button.


Q: How do I register for a tournament?
A: Here is the link to our guidelines for registering for a tournament.


Q: Which tournaments have I already registered for?
A: Click on the User Profile link on the top navigation bar to view all players and tournaments associated with your account.


Q: Do I have to sign up for all of the tournaments?
A: No. You can sign up for any tournaments you wish. You can enter one or all of them if you want. You can play when you want.


Q: How do I cancel or change an event registration for my child?
A: Please email john@jrgrandprix.com with the tournament date and age group and we can arrange a cancellation or credit towards another tournament.


Q: What is your event registration cancellation policy?
A: You may cancel any event registration up to 24 hours in advance and receive back the tournament registration fee minus $2 dollars PayPal transaction fee. Sorry but there are no refunds for cancellations received within 24 hours of an event.


Q: I disagree with my point total. How do I get this fixed?
A: Please send scoring discrepancies to john@jrgrandprix.com.


Q: I am a USTA ranked player. Can I play the Junior Grand Prix?
A: Yes. USTA ranked players may play in the Junior Grand Prix. If you have a 2016 Final Sectional/District Ranking, you may play in the Junior Grand Prix, but not in the specific age division being ranked. The Junior Grand Prix Girls' 15s age division will be governed by the USTA Girls' 16s rankings. NOTE: A current-year USTA standing has no bearing on eligibility to play in the Junior Grand Prix. If there are any questions about this rule concerning your player or any other players, email john@jrgrandprix.com with the player name(s) and they will be checked for eligibility.


Q: Do my results affect my USTA ranking?
A: No. Junior Grand Prix Tennis - Chicago is not directly involved with any USTA sanctioning.


Q: I play in the Junior Grand Prix. Should I play USTA tournaments?
A: Absolutely. We recommend that many of our players try some USTA tournaments. It is good for up-and-coming players to have a mixture of both.


Q: I have a very busy schedule. I cannot make all of the tournaments. Can I still play in the league?
A: Yes! It is up to you to pick your own schedule based on the league schedule. You may play as much or as little as you want depending on which events you want to participate in.


Q: Who qualifies for the Junior Championship at the end of the season?
A: The 16 highest ranked players that register


Q: Who qualifies for the Midwest Championship after the Junior Championship?
A: The 2 highest ranked players that register and/or the winner of the Junior Championship.


Q: What does Fully Registered mean for a player?
A: This means that we have received a payment for a tournament through PayPal and the player just needs to show up to the tournament.


Q: What does PayPal Payment Pending mean for a player?
A: This means that we have yet to receive payment for a tournament, please note that PayPal may take a few hours to process a payment and notify us. In most cases, the payment is processed within a matter of minutes or seconds.


Q: Does paying for a SEASON PASS equate to paying for all tournaments?
A: No, a SEASON PASS only registers a player with the league, there is a separate tournament registration fee per tournament.


Q: How do I get my players registration status for one or all tournaments that I registered for?
A: You can click on the USER PROFILE link on the top navigation bar to get this information as well as pay for any unpaid registrations.


Q: How do I pay for a tournament registration or SEASON PASS if I did not pay during the initial registration?
A: You can click on the USER PROFILE link on the top navigation bar to get a list of tournament registrations for your player. A Buy Now button will be provided for each non-paid event. By clicking on the Buy Now button a new tab will be opened in our browser which will take you to a PayPal site which is used to submit the payment. You can either use the pay by debit or credit link or use your PayPal account to submit payment.


Q: Are the Boys 10 and Girls 10 divisions played on full size courts?
A: Yes the tournaments are played on full size courts using the Green dot balls.


Q: How do I use a credit that I have with you?
A: Just register for a future tournament and the website will automatically detect that you have a credit and apply that to the registration. You will not have to go through the PayPal process. You can always verify the status of your player on the USER PROFILE page.


Q: How are the points distributed for MAJORs?
A: The points for a MAJOR are double that of a regular tournament. Please refer to the Rules and Regulations for normal tournament point distributions.


Q: How do I change my contact information such as my email address or cellphone number?
A: Please email support@jrgrandprix.com from the email address that is on file with us and we can change the information for you.


Q: What happens when a tournament is cancelled?
A: Upon a tournament cancellation, all registered paid players are notified via email and they are credited towards a future tournament. The credit is stored on our website until the next time that player registers for a tournament. That future registration will automatically be marked as being paid so you will not have to go through the PayPal process.
